Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go with Intel Celeron Processor

Samsung has quietly listed a new budget Chrome OS-based laptop, the Galaxy Chromebook Go on its website. The South Korean company’s latest Chromebook, which joins the Galaxy Chromebook and Galaxy Chromebook 2, comes in Wi-Fi and LTE options, up to 128GB eMMC storage space, microSD card slot, Chrome OS and 42.3Wh battery with 45W USB Type-C charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go is equipped with a 14-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) HD TFT (16:9) display with 180o swivel, Intel Celeron Processor N4500 (Jasper Lake) processor with Intel UHD Graphics, up to 8GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 720p HD camera. It has two USB-C ports, one USB 3.2 port, 3.5mm headphone/mic jack, Nano SIM slot (optional) and Nano Security slot.

The Chromebook also has a back-lit keyboard (matte Black), Stereo speakers (1.5W x 2) measures 327.1 x 225.6 x 15.9mm in dimensions and weigh in at 1.45kg. Samsung has gone for the Pale Silver colour instead of the accustomed Solid Silver on its Chromebooks and a separate mobile data plan is required on the LTE models. There is no yet word on pricing, however, it is speculated to be available in Asia, Europe and North American markets.
