In a recent Special Press event in Taiwan, Samsung announced the availability of 4G LTE capable devices with the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Galaxy S5, and a newly introduced entry level smartphone dubbed the Galaxy Core Lite. The main idea behind Samsung’s Galaxy Core is to create a lower end/entry level smartphones that in some ways are alike to its current flagship at that point in time. Galaxy Core Lite joins the line-up of the company’s Galaxy Core line with the Galaxy Core Advanced, Galaxy Core and the Galaxy Core Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Lite features a 4.7-inch WVGA display, powered by a Snapdragon 400 chip with a quad-core Cortex A7 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage (expandable up to 64GB with micro SD card support) and running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top.
On the rear is a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box and powered by a 2000mAh battery. Connectivity options includes the touted 4G LTE alongside Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G and GPS.

The Samsung Galaxy Core Lite is one of the cheapest samsung device with 4G LTE connectivity at TWD7,990 (€195/$264/₦44,000). The device would be on Sale in Taiwan starting this month, with its availability in other markets is unavailable at the moment.
Towards the end of May, Samsung dished out the rugged and shock resistant version of the flagship Galaxy S5 with the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.
And in this month alone, Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy W with 7-inch display and its first Tizen OS powered smartphone Samsung Z.
