Samsung’s Galaxy F Foldable Smartphone Will Have Two Displays

Dual Screen and Foldable smartphones appears to be the next direction for major brands such as LG, Huawei and Samsung. According to Korean media outlet – The Bell, Samsung has plans to reveal ‎concrete details about its upcoming foldable smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy F.

While unconfirmed yet, ‎the Galaxy F is said to have a dual screen setup – usable as a smartphone when folded and as a tablet when spread out. The main OLED screen has a 7.28 (7.3) inches diagonal size and while the other has a 4.58 (4.6) inches diagonal size. ‎The OLED display panels used are called Infinity V.

The reports also goes forward to confirm that Samsung has begun mass producing the displays and initially, only 100,000 units will be produced on a monthly basis. It expects to make up to 500,000 – 1,000,000 units of this model in a year to test the market’s reaction.

Furthermore, Samsung has reportedly been working closely with Google and Task Force (TF) on a unique version of Android UI specifically for this phone. KH Vatec has taken on the task of mass producing the right hinge for the phone’s nearly perfect fold.

Samsung is expected to reveal more information about the Galaxy F at its annual developer conference in San Francisco later this week (November 7-8). Finally, the Galaxy S10 also got some shout-out from the article, it is expected to go official at the MWC 2019 next year.‎
