After months of rumours and official confirmation of its existence at the SDC 2018, Samsung just unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Fold at the Unpacked 2019. The foldable device features the world’s first 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display which folds into a compact 4.6-inch smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold is equipped with six cameras – three on the back, two on the inside and one on the cover – to capture moments when it is being held or folded. It is powered by a 7nm octa-core processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB (UFS 3.0) built-in storage.
It has a unique UX with features such as Multi-Active Window (three apps simultaneously) and App Continuity, a dual battery (4380mAh) and can charge other devices via Wireless Powershare. The Galaxy Fold is compatible with devices and services in the Galaxy ecosystem such as Bixby, Samsung DeX, Samsung Knox, Samsung Pay and Samsung Health.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available starting Q2 2019 in Astro Blue, Cosmos Black, Martian Green and Space Silver colours. Pricing is billed to start at US$1,980.
