Samsung has plans to announce the Galaxy Grand On and Galaxy Mega On smartphones; both devices have been detailed in terms of their specs and the only thing remaining is an official announcement.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega On has been certified on TENAA and now it is the turn of the Galaxy Grand On with the model number – SM-G5500 to visit the Chinese agency.
Moving to the Samsung Galaxy Grand On specs, it sports a 5.1-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), powered by a quad-core Exynos 3475 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB native storage space.
The device has a front facing 5MP camera, rear facing 8MP main camera with LED flash and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot which accepts up to 128GB cards. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks; has Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and since it is Samsung it should have NFC too.
Measuring 142 x 71.9 x 8.5mm and weighing 140 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Grand On run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. Asides knowing the specs information which we have confirmed to be an entry-level one, there is no word on any official announcement or pricing details.
