Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Specs spotted on Benchmark Listing

Samsung is reported working on an entry-level smartphone which has been spotted on both Zauba and GFXBench database listing. The Samsung SM-J105F as it is listed, is a variant of the Galaxy J1 which is expected to go official the Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini and will have a price tag below $100.

Moving to the Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini Specs (SM-J105F); it sports a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA), powered by a Spreadtrum SC8830 SoC with a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU paired with ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage (only 4.7GB is available to the user).

In the camera department, there is a front facing 0.3-megapixels (VGA) camera for video chats and maybe selfies; and a rear facing 5-megapixels camera with LED flash. The handset runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is expected to have a microSD card slot to support up to 128GB cards.

Judging from the above, the Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini has the same specs as the original Galaxy J1 smartphone but Zauba listing suggests the Samsung SM-J105F is real and will rather have a 4-inch display size which seems to justify the mini name but the rest of the specs will be largely the same.

We will bring more information on the device when it goes official and when it becomes available. It is expected to focused on markets where low smartphones are in demand.
