Samsung Mobile Bangladesh has taken the wraps off a new Galaxy J1 series device. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy J1 Nxt, the 4-inch display is available in the Bangladeshi market for a price tag of BDT 6990 (US$ 88) in Black, Golden and White colour options.
Moving to the key specs, the 10.8 mm thick Samsung Galaxy J1 Nxt sports a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA TFT display, powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB).
The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a removable 1500mAh Li-ion battery which is complemented by the Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode which ensures up to 50% data saving. Connectivity options onboard are 3G HSPA, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB v2.0, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 Nxt has a rear facing 5-megapixels camera with f/2.2 aperture and a front facing VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera. It has Dual micro SIM slots, measures 126.6 x 63.1 x 10.8 mm in dimensions and weighs 123 grams.
