Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J200G spotted Benchmark website

Samsung is expected to release the Samsung Galaxy J2 at some point this year. The successor to the Galaxy J1 already has its full specifications leaked online and it has now made its ways to benchmark website – GFXBench.

According to GFXBench benchmark listing, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (SM-J200G) would feature a 5.7-inch display which is now bigger than the 4.5-inch earlier speculated and it is also likely to be a typo error with 4.7-inch more realistic. The screen resolution would be 960 x 540 pixels resolution (qHD).

The Galaxy J2 (SM-J200G) is powered by a quad-core Samsung Exynos 3475 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB internal storage space on the device with only 4.3GB available to the user and the inclusion of a microSD card slot would be the ideal solution.

On the rear, there is a 5MP camera, there is a 1.9 or 2MP front facing camera and it would run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. The information from GFXBench seems to be a little off the point at the moment as only the chipset (Samsung Exynos 3475), internal storage space and the OS version (Android 5.1.1) seems to correlate.

It is unlikely Samsung is readying two version of the Samsung Galaxy J2, so we just have to wait until there is any official announcement or press release to know more about the device.
