In coming weeks, Samsung is expected to launch new Galaxy J (2017) series smartphones i.e the J3 (2017), J5 (2017) and J7 (2017). Different variants of the smallest – the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has been launched by US carriers under different names – Galaxy Amp Prime 2 (Cricket), Galaxy J3 Prime (T-Mobile, MetroPCs) and Galaxy J3 Emerge (Sprint, Boost, and Virgin Mobile).
Although not formally announced yet, the official pictures and specs of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has been unearthed. This variant – the Samsung SM-J3330 is a bit different from the US versions and should be launched in Europe and various markets around the world.
The device features a mix of metal and plastic body, 5-inch HD LCD display, 1.4GHz octa-core Exynos 7570 processor with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage. Some markets will get this device with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Either storage option is expandable via microSD up to 256GB.
The rest of the specs includes – rear 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, front 16MP selfie camera, NFC, Android 7.0 Nougat OS and 2600mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is tipped to be priced around EUR 200 and as mentioned earlier, the release should happen anytime soon.
