Samsung has officially debuted the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) in Europe. The duo alongside the recently surfaced Galaxy J3 (2017) form the core Galaxy J 2017 series family. Both come in Black, Gold and Blue colours, and are priced at EUR 279 ($315) and EUR 339 ($382) respectively.
Both the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) come pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and 4G LTE support with VoLTE. They have a stylish metal body (7.9 mm thick) with new antenna design, rear and front 13MP cameras, fingerprint sensor (home button) and microSD card slot.
The Galaxy J7 (2017) features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 256GB), LTE Cat. 6 and USB Type-C support, and a 3,600mAh battery. It will be available in Europe by July.
The Galaxy J5 (2017), on the other hand, features a smaller 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, and a lasting 3,000mAh battery. It has the same processor, storage and cameras as the new J7 but uses the micro USB port and will arrive later this month.
The smallest of the trio – the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will go on sale in August for EUR 219 ($245). It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TFT display, premium metal body, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, 13MP/5MP rear and front cameras, and a 2,400mAh battery.
