The Samsung Galaxy J4 (SM-J400F/DS) is the first budget ‘Galaxy J4’ series smartphone from the South Korean company. It doesn’t have either face unlock or fingerprint sensor like the recently released Samsung Galaxy J6 (2018) but runs Android 8.0 Oreo OS with Experience U.I on top.
Available in four chic colours – Black, Gold, Lavender and Purple, the Samsung Galaxy J4 sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED display with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, Dual SIM slots, rear facing 13MP AF (f/1.9) camera with LED flash and front 5MP FF (f/2.2) camera also with LED flash.
On the inside, it is powered by the 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 14nm processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD). Power is supplied by a 3,000mAh battery, which delivers up to 20 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 80 hours audio playback time.
The Samsung Galaxy J4 is available from offline retailers and brand stores across India for a price tag of INR 9,990 (US$ 148). It is also on sale in the UAE for AED 649 (USD 177) and in Malaysia for RM 599.
