Samsung is expected to launch new additions – Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 to the Galaxy J series of devices which has the Samsung Galaxy J1 as the pioneer for this series. The timeframe for the launch date is not expected to be far off.
While most of the specs of both the Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 has been detailed about a months ago, the devices have now paid their visit to TENAA, where it would be certified for use in China. As expected, the agency posted the specification as well as images of the devices and also it is another indicator that we will soon be seeing launch date.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 (SM-J5008) features a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card for storage expansion.
The Galaxy J5 measures 142.0 × 73.0 × 8.5mm in dimensions, weighs 149 grams, a rear facing 13MP camera, front 5MP camera, runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 2600mAh battery.
Like the Galaxy J5, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (SM-J7008) also runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the same 13MP/5MP camera combination on the rear and front, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB space of Internal storage. and a microSD card slot.
It however sports a 5.5-inch HD display, powered by a quad-core Marvel PXA1936 processor clocked at 1.4GHz and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. It measures 152.4 × 79.2 × 7.9mm and weighs 170.0g
