Not long ago, the 2016 model of the Samsung Galaxy J5 passed through benchmark revealing most of the key specs. Today, it is the turn of the accompanying model – the Samsung Galaxy J7 2016. The South Korean company has already announced the Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 and others 2016 Galaxy J models are expected to follow soon.
According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 (model number – SM-J710x) sports a 5.5-inch display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space (10GB user available).
In the camera segment, the device has the same rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies; both cameras record 1080p videos. It boots Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and packs standard connectivity options – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, along with NFC.
The differences between the original Galaxy J7 and the new Galaxy J7 2016; the screen resolution has increased from 720p HD to 1080p Full HD and the RAM has doubled from 1.5GB to 3GB. The device is expected to retain the generous 3000mAh battery under the hood.
