Finally, Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy J7 and Samsung Galaxy J5 smartphones in China. The duo join the Samsung Galaxy J1 in the Galaxy J series of devices from the company.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, measures 152.2 x 79.1 x 7.9mm in dimensions, weighs 149 grams and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, measures 142 x 73 x 8.5mm in dimensions, weighs 169 grams, and is backed by a 2600mAh battery.
Both the Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 share the rest of specs – 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front camera with front facing flash, Dual SIM Dual Standby support, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with TouchWIZ UI, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 is available in China for a price equivalent to CNY 1798 ($290) and the Samsung Galaxy J5 is selling for CNY 1398 ($225). The device is available in Gold, White and Black colour options.
