Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt with 5.5-inch HD display, Exynos 7870 SoC Announced

Samsung has released yet another smartphone under the ever expanding Galaxy J series. Dubbed the ‎Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt (SM-J701F), the device joins the already existing Galaxy J7 Pro, Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphones and boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS however lacks a fingerprint sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage space (expandable up 128GB via microSD. It has Dual SIM (hybrid) and 4G VoLTE support, and depends on ‎a 3,000 mAh battery (removable) which should last well over a day of mixed usage.‎

In the camera aspect, the ‎Galaxy J7 Nxt is equipped with a rear 13MP camera with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture; and a front 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The device is priced at Rs. 11,490 ($179) and can be purchased online via Samsung Shop and Amazon.in. ‎Black and Gold are the available colour options.

PS: The Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt is a rebranded version of the Galaxy J7 (2016) but comes with Android Nougat OS and a reduced battery (from 3,300mAh to 3,000mAh). ‎
