Samsung is expected to announce two midrange devices in the Galaxy J series of devices; the Samsung Galaxy J5 and the Samsung Galaxy J7 are both smartphones tipped to launch at some point this year. Both the Galaxy J5 and J7 smartphones are massive upgrades over the Samsung Galaxy J1.
Out of China comes the Samsung Galaxy J7 Official manual which is said to be the China mobile version of the device. The phablet sized device is with the model number SM-J7008 and would runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
Different sources lists different display size of the phablet, some sources say it would have a 5.8-inch display and other says it would have a 5.5-inch display; but we have to go with the 5.5-inch IPS LCD display the manual says. The resolution on the display is a HD (1280 x 720 ppixels) one.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 would be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz (likely a Qualcomm processor) paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. It would surely have a microSD card slot for those who need more space.
The rest of the specs includes – a 13MP rear camera with CMOS sensor and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options includes – Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It comes with Dual SIM slots and supports the following networks – TD-LTE, W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA and GSM.
