Finally, Samsung has unveiled its new brand in the line of the Galaxy Zoom series dubbed the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. The Galaxy Zoom series combines a decent smartphone with a very competitive digital camera. The Galaxy K Zoom will come as a near relief to the disappointing Galaxy S4 Zoom, but this relief is a very slight one.
The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom features a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage (expandable with micro SD), 4.8-inch (1720 x 720) Super AMOLED display, 1/2.3-inch 20.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and 10x optical zoom, 2MP front facing camera, Xenon flash, 1.7GHz / 1.3GHz Exynos 5 Hexacore processor. The device runs on Android 4.4 and offers bluetooth, NFC, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi running on a 2340mAh battery.

Unlike its predecessor, The Galaxy K zoom also adds some of the features in the flagship Galaxy smartphone such as the Ultra Power saving mode for reducing battery consumption, Studio app for editing and S Health lite for fitness.
Pricing and availability details of the second camera specialised smartphone – Galaxy K Zoom has not been announced but if announcements are made about its availability in Nigeria or any part of the world, we will keep you informed.
UPDATE: Samsung has finally unveiled the price of the latest Camera-Smartphone, the Galaxy K Zoom for Germany. The Company issued a statement about its availability in Germany this month and would retail for €519 (around N116,000 to N120,000 in Nigerian Naira). After the launch in Germany, the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom would be available in other markets at a later date.
