Samsung is one of those smartphone makers that prides itself in phones with almost every screen dimensions. Observers have spotted a new smartphone with 7-inch display from Samsung with the model number SM-T2558 was certified on Chinese regulatory website, TENAA recently.
According to a leaked brochure, the Samsung Galaxy W would launch in South Korea soon and its set to be the 7-inch variant of the Galaxy Mega 2. The Samsung Galaxy W (SM-T2558) features a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor (possible snapdragon 400), 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB space of expandable internal storage.
In the camera segment, there is a 8-Megapixels rear facing camera with LED flash and a 2-Megapixels front facing camera for selfies as well as video chats. Connectivity options on the device includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G.
The Galaxy W also comes with the ”Phoneblet UX” which includes a landscape mode & Multi window feature and one thing questionable is it run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. The device sports the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 like faux leather back and would exclusively launch on South Korean network, SK telecoms.
With the above specs, there is however no assurance that the Samsung Galaxy W is a 7-inch variant of the Galaxy Mega.
