Samsung Electronics has unveiled the latest edition of the premium Galaxy Note series – the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ with BLE S Pen, as well as the Galaxy Book S, Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Galaxy Tab S6. Both models of the Note series combine performance and productivity, and are available globally starting August 23 in Aura Black, Aura Glow and Aura White colours. The Galaxy Book S will arrive in fall in select markets in Earthy Gold and Mercury Gray colours.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+
The Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Displays (Cinematic Infinity Display) with HDR10+ certification and 3,500mAh battery while the Galaxy Note 10+ has a bigger 6.8-inch QHD+ display, also with HDR10+ certification and 4,300mAh battery. Both models have Dynamic Tone Mapping support, AKG-tuned stereo speakers, USB Type-C (audio and charging), wired Super-Fast Charging (QC2.0, AFC and PD3.0) and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 (WPC and PMA).

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a triple rear camera setup with 16MP (F2.2 123°) ultra-wide, 12MP (2PD AF F1.5/F2.4 OIS 77°) wide-angle and 12MP (F2.1 OIS 45°) telephoto cameras. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ has the same camera but adds an extra Depth Vision Camera (VGA). The prograde camera has features such as Premium Video Technology, Quick and Easy Video Editing, AR Doodle and 3D Scanner, Night Mode and Screen Recorder for creators.
The rest of the specs include Fingerprint sensor and Face recognition, 10MP (2PD AF F2.2 80°) selfie camera and boots Android 9.0 Pie. With the S Pen Air actions, the latest BLE S Pen supports intuitive gesture recognition and lasts about 10 hours of usage on a single charge. The pen has features such as screen off memo, screen recorder, Air command, Live message, AR Doodle and Samsung Notes.
For gaming, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ features the world’s slimmest vapor chamber cooling system, PlayGalaxy Link P2P streaming service and AI-based Game Booster for optimizing performance and power consumption depending on the game. The Note 10 and Note 10+ arrives in up to 12GB RAM, 256/ 512GB built-in storage and LTE and 5G-ready options.
Samsung Galaxy Book S
The surprise appearance at the Unpacked event was the Galaxy Book S. Developed in partnership with Microsoft and Qualcomm, the laptop is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx compute platform and boot Windows 10 OS (Home/Pro). In terms of processing power, it offers 40-percent CPU performance, 80-percent greater graphics performance and added memory bandwidth over the Galaxy Book. It is always-on, always-connected, always-capable and offers Gigabit LTE connectivity – up to 1.2 Gbps download speed.
Weighing in at 0.96kg, the Samsung Galaxy Book S has a 13.3-inch FHD TFT (16:9) display with 10-point multi-touch, premium anodized aluminium body frame (top and base) and 42Wh battery that offers up to 23 hours of video playback time. The rest of the specs: 8GB RAM (LPDDR4X) RAM, 256/512GB built-in storage, MicroSD slot (up to 1TB), Fingerprint Sensor with Windows Hello sign in, Stereo speakers: Sound by AKG and Dolby Atmos technology, 720p HD camera and USB Type-C port.
