High profile phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set to hit the shores of Nigeria and officially go on sale come October 24. The device would be available through authorized Samsung partner stores and telecom network operator stores nationwide.
Samsung Electronics West Africa’s director of Information Technology and Mobile, Emmanouil Revmatas Said:
“A formal launch of the Galaxy Note 4 device in Nigeria will take place at Samsung’s Experience Store in Ikeja City Mall, Lagos on the launch date; lots of exciting gifts and Samsung accessories are also in the offering for consumers that purchase the device at the event.”
Samsung went premium with the Galaxy Note 4 with a sleek metal trim and the faux leather common with the Galaxy line of devices. The device packs a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 515ppi which allows users enjoy sharper images, brighter colours and a wide viewing angle. Asides that, you get to see 3GB of RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, a microsD card slot, 16MP rear camera, 3.7MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE Cat.4, Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with TouchWiz UI ontop and a 3200mAh battery.
It also has an improved stylus pen (S Pen) with two writing options – Calligraphy and Fountain; ability to edit images using the device’s Snap Note feature.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set to be available in Frosted White, Charcoal Black, Bronze Gold and Blossom Pink colour options but no word on the pricing details at the moment. One free accessory would be bundled along with the device only on the first day of sales (October 24th) at all authorized Samsung retail dealers nationwide. If I were you I would mark that date on the calender.
