Samsung Korea has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 128GB Winter Special Edition. The phablet sized device which was initially available in only 32GB and 64GB variants, will be available by January in South Korea through SKT and KT carriers for a price tag of 1,099,000 Korean Won ( US$ 930) in Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colour options.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 128GB Winter Special Edition comes with the same specs as the original Galaxy Note 5 but the storage capacity which is non-expandable is bumped up to 128GB and the device comes with a lot of perks including various promotional products for Christmas and the New Year, according to the release.
The Galaxy Note 5 sport a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display, Stylus Pen (S Pen) support and fingerprint sensor in the home button. It is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB UFS 2.0 storage space (non-expandable).
The rest of the specs includes 16MP main camera with OIS, 5MP front facing camera, 4G LTE, NFC, Samsung Pay and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with TouchWIZ UI. It measures 7.6mm thin, weighs 171 grams and is backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging and Qi Wireless charging support
