If the way OEMs move on quickly from one flagship smartphone to another is the way relationships are; people won’t feel heartbroken that much. Even though, it is still early days for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and it’s Edge compatriot – the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge – (which are not yet in stores worldwide as of yet), the rumour mill is already talking about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S7.
While the Samsung Galaxy S7 is not expected until the MWC 2016, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected later this year possibly at the IFA 2015. Reports from South Korea has affirmed that both devices would come with flexible screen. The source also claim both smartphones would amount to Samsung producing around 8 million screen per month.
With that huge amount, Samsung is said to be restructuring it’s Display Business as well as expanding its large factory. The company would also improve its Polyamide production process. In what is described as a pretty complex process, Polyamide is used in making flexible OLED screens.
The company is expected to complete the restructuring and improvement of the production line by August 2015. Much could still change from now till then but hey its Samsung so we are always interested.
