Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Launch Event Scheduled for August 9

Samsung Electronics has sent out invitations for a Galaxy Unpacked event at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn on August 9. Going by the pointers on the teaser, which resembles the S Stylus pen, the company is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 9.

While Samsung hasn’t come out straight to confirm that this Brooklyn event is entirely about the Galaxy Note 9, it is an open secret that the South Korean company releases new Galaxy Note devices during the summer and the Galaxy Note 8 made its debut around this same time last year.

So far, there is no detailed Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specs, however, it is expected to have the same dual rear camera setup as the Galaxy S9+, a revamped virtual assistant (Bixby 2.0) and there could be huge focus on the what the improved S Pen can do.

Depending on the market, the flagship will likely be based on the Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845 chipsets. It will reportedly arrive in Black, Blue, Brown, Grey and Lavender colour options.
Along with the Note 9 (SM-N960F / SM-N960X), Samsung could also announce the high-end Galaxy Tab S4 tablet. Both devices have been spotted on the FCC with the latter listed with the model numbers: SM-T835 (LTE) and SM-T830 (Wi-Fi).
