Samsung is expected to announce two new devices in a new Galaxy O series – Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7. Both devices are identical but as expected the latter has a phablet screen while the former has to do with a normal smartphone range screen.
The Samsung Galaxy O7 (SM-G600x) has been spotted on GFXBench, the device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 grams, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage out of which only 5.1GB is user available. There should be a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the back sit a 13MP camera with Flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, however, one area of concern is the screen display. Previously, a 5.5-inch sized display was tipped but the listing bow shows two display sizes – a 5.8″ one and 5″ one.
Since both the Samsung Galaxy O5 and Samsung Galaxy O7 are somewhat similar, it is likely the smaller version (Galaxy O5) will have a 5″ display while the bigger variant (Galaxy O7) will have a 5.8-inch display. As it is always with most leaks or rumours, the only time we can confirm these reports is if we have an official confirmation.
