Weeks after the launch of the Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro, Samsung has launched a new smartphone under the ‘Galaxy On’ series in India, the Samsung Galaxy On Max. This device is the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max released under another name and can be purchased exclusively from Flipkart starting July 10th.
Pre-installed with Android Nougat OS, the Samsung Galaxy On Max has a metal unibody design, 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD LCD display and a 3,300mAh battery. It also has support for Samsung Pay Mini, which allows the user make payments via UPI (Unified Payment Interface) and mobile wallet.
The Galaxy On Max excels well in the camera department with a rear 13MP camera (f/1.7) and a front 13MP camera (f/1.9). Both cameras have LED flash and promises brilliant pictures under all light conditions. The Social Media mode allows the user pin their favourite contacts on social media and instantly share images with them within the camera app.
The device packs an octa-core Mediatek Helio X20 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage. For secure data and payments, it also has a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. The Samsung Galaxy On Max is available in Black and Gold colours, and is priced at Rs. 16,900 (US$ 262).
