Following the launch of Samsung Galaxy J6 and J8 smartphones, the company has re-launched the Galaxy J8 for sale online-only as the Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) in India. It is available exclusively from Flipkart and Samsung Shop online from August 6th for a price tag starting at INR 16,990 (~ USD 247). There are also other offers like No Cost EMI, Special Data Offers and more.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) has a 6-inch (1480 x 720 pixels) HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card) and a 3,500mAh non-removable battery. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor and boots Android Oreo OS with Samsung’s own UI on top.
The smartphone is equipped with 16MP (f/1.9) + 5MP (f/1.9) dual rear cameras and a front facing 16MP (f/1.9) camera with LED flash and Face Unlock. Some of the camera features include Background Blur Shape, Live Focus, Portrait Dolly and Portrait Backdrop. The rest of the specs include – 4G VoLTE, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack and Fingerprint sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy On8 (2018) also comes with the Samsung Mall app which provides intelligent visual search feature on online shopping platform in India.
