The high-end S21 Ultra will be available only in Phantom Black and Phantom Silver colours. The confirms the S21 Ultra will have the maximum battery (5,000mAh), both S Pen (not included) and Wi-Fi 6E support, while the others will have 4,000mAh (S21) and 4,800mAh (S21+) batteries respectively, and support Wi-Fi 6. They pack 12MP (main), 64MP (telephoto) and 12MP (ultrawide) sensors.
The S21 Ultra will have a 108MP sensor (much improved version of the one used in the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra) paired with 12MP ultrawide and two telephoto sensors with dual pixel autofocus – 3x optical telephoto and 10x optical super telephoto. Samsung is expected to add camera features such as 4K/60fps recording, 8K/30fps recording, and dual mode recording.
Akin to the iPhone 12 line-up, the Galaxy S21+ and S21 Ultra will have the UltraWide Band (UWB) feature and will be able to track the upcoming SmartThings tags. Several sources point to a January 14 launch for the Galaxy S21 series and pricing is expected to remain competitive considering the current pandemic.
