Samsung has quietly listed the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Plus – a refreshed version of the Galaxy S4 Mini in Europe. The device which is also known as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Value Edition in some markets is priced between €190 to €239.
Compared to the original Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the only thing that seems to have changed is the processor; the S4 Mini Plus/S4 Mini Value Edition is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU compared to the 32-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU.
The rest of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Plus includes a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels (qHD), 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage which is expandable by a microSD card slot.
On the rear there is a 8MP camera with LED flash, a front facing 1.9MP camera and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS/GLONASS/BEIDOU, NFC and LTE connectivity. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 1900mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Plus or Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Value Edition can be found selling in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany and Romania. It is unlikely the device makes it out of Europe.
