Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo with Exynos 7580 chipset spotted on Benchmark listing

More than a year that the Samsung Galaxy S5 has gone official, Samsung is preparing a variant of the smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo. There were talks of the device going official last year but that didn’t happen, maybe it could in coming months (or days).

A possible Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo smartphone with the model number – SM-G903F model has been spotted on GFXBench benchmark listing. In terms of design the device should not stray much from last year’s flagship and improvements have come in the areas of chipset and camera.

The device in question has a 5.1-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There should be a microSD card for storage expansion.

The Samsung Galaxy Neo would now be powered by the Exynos 7580 chips which has been seen to power an upcoming TCL P680M Phablet with 5.6-inch display. The main camera is the same 16MP camera and the front camera is now a 5MP snapper for selfies.

A 2800mAh battery is on-board to keep the lights on and Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with TouchWiZ UI ontop would be handling the software side of things. To target different markets, device would be available in Single SIM and Dual SIM models for the Chinese, Brazilian, Russian and Indian markets.
