It is a norm for Samsung to release a Duos (Dual SIM) version of its flagship devices and even some midrange ones too. This norm will also extent to the Samsung Galaxy S6. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos would definitely be available in select markets and Dubai is confirmed to be one of them.
The 32GB Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos is priced at AED 2699 ($735), the 64GB model for AED 2999 ($816) and that of the 128GB model is not detailed.
Asides the Dual SIM functionality on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos, it packs the same specs as the Singe SIM variant. It sports a 5.1-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Super AMOLED display, pixel density 577ppi, powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (64-bit), 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB space of non-expandable internal storage.
Other specs features includes – 16MP main camera with OIS, LED flash; 5MP front camera, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE Cat.6 , Bluetooth, IR Blaster, NFC, Samsung KNOX, Samsung Pay, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and 2550mAh battery with fast charging technology plus wireless charging.
While there is no word on the rollout of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos which is expected to be available in select countries. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is already on pre-order in different countries, the global release date is said to be April 10.
