The Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini is (or was) one of the expected mini smartphones of 2015, despite different speculation and some leaked images, the device is not official yet. A retail listing in the far east (the U.A.E) has resurrected rumours about the existence of the device.
According to the listing by LetsTango, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini is not available for sale yet but on pre-order. The specs however correlate to previous rumoured ones. It sports a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by an Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.
The rest of the expected Galaxy S6 Mini details includes – rear facing 16MP main camera, 5MP front facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity support and a non-removable Li-ion battery. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and packs a Paypal certified fingerprint sensor.
Samsung has always offered a mini variant of its current galaxy S flagship on a yearly basis but this time around we haven’t heard much about the Galaxy S6 Mini with the focus for 2016 being the high-end Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 6.
