The Samsung Galaxy S6 is included in our list of one of the most anticipated smartphone of 2015. The device has been subject to so may leaks and rumours in recent days and we have more information on the upcoming smartphone.
The Galaxy S6 would definitely be a beastly device and it’s score on AnTuTu doesn’t suggest otherwise. The device scores above 60,000 (60, 978 points) on the benchmark listing which is a very hard mark to reach for either Qualcomm or MediaTek. The high score can be attributed to the in-house built Samsung Exynos 7420 which was created using a 14nm process and it is currently the strongest chipset in the market.
Moving to the Specs, some of the listed specs are different to those we heard eariler; the device with the codename SM-G925W8 would now feature a 5.1-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Quad HD display, octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor which clocks at 2.1GHz (four cortex A57 + four cortex A53) with 3GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage, 20MP main camera, 5MP front camera and it would run on Android 5.02 Lollipop OS.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S6 and it’s Edge variant. The Edge variant could be called the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge or Samsung Galaxy S Edge which would also almost have the same specs but with the screen extending to the Side(S). We will know more about the device at the official unveiling in March at the MWC 2015.
