Alongside the launch of the Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy Book at the MWC 2017, Samsung stylishly confirmed the Galaxy S8 announcement will take place at its upcoming Unpacked 2017 event “Unbox Your Phone” on March 29. The flagship device should launch alongside a bigger variant – the Galaxy S8 Plus.

Samsung’s new flagships – the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be available in two processor variants – the Snapdragon 835 or the Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor. Both models pack 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage, 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP selfie camera with f/1.7 aperture, 4G VoLTE, Heart Rate sensor, IP68 ratings water and dust resistance, fingerprint sensor and iris scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 should sport a 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display while the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has a 6.2-inch Curved Super AMOLED display. Both come pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS with the company’s usual skin on top and fast charging both on Wired and Wireless charging.
