Samsung was expected to unveil its Galaxy Tab 4 at the Unpacked 5 event in Barcelona but it didn’t end up unveiling them. After so many rumours on the scene, Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, a new line of Android tablets available in three different sizes – 7, 8 and 10-Inch sizes.
The tablets are expected to be available globally by the 2nd Quarter of this year and they will all come ins White and Black colour variants. The Korean based giants however did not announce the pricing of its new latest series of devices.
FEATURES
All the three tables unveiled (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1) run on 1.2GHZ quad-core processor alongside a 1.5GB RAM. With WXGA (1,200×800 pixel) display resolution on different screen sizes, the Samsung Galaxy Tab4 8.0 has a 8inch display, the Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7 has a 7inch display and the Samsung Galaxy Tab4 10.1 display has a 10.1 inch display.
Also, the three Galaxy Tab4 tablets sport a 3-megapixel fixed focus rear cameras and also house a 1.3-megapixel front-facing cameras. The Galaxy Tab4 7.0, Galaxy Tab4 8.0 and Galaxy Tab4 10.1 will all be available in 3G/Wi-Fi and LTE options. There is however no information on voice – calling support on the upcoming Galaxy Tab4series.
The Galaxy Tab4 8.0 and 10.1 have inbuilt 16GB storage variant and its is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card while the Galaxy Tab 7.0 comes in 8GB/16GB variant which is further expandable to 32GB (3G) and 64GB (LTE) via MicroSD card.
