Samsung has officially listed up the Samsung Galaxy A 7.0 2016 Wi-Fi model on the company’s German website. The tablet is expected to be available in Europe as the Galaxy Tab A series but will be available in the US under the Galaxy Tab E series family. There is no word on pricing yet.
Available in either Black or White colour options, the Samsung Galaxy A 7.0 2016 Wi-Fi model sports a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA TFT display, powered by a quad-core Exynos 3475 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 200GB. In the camera segment, there is a front facing 2-megapixel camera and a rear facing 5-megapixels AutoFocus camera. Connectivity options available includes – USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS.
Measuring 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7mm in dimensions and weighing in at 283 grams ; the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 2016 has Kids Mode for parents and is backed by a non-removable 4000mAh battery that provides up to 11 hours of Internet service on Wi-Fi and up to 100 hours of music playback time.
PS: Samsung is expected to sell a 4G LTE + Wi-Fi model also which should be available for a price tag of US$ 245 while the Wi-Fi model should sell for a price tag around US$ 190. This 7-inch model does not support the S Pen unlike the 8-inch and 9.7-inch screen model of the Galaxy A family.
