Samsung Electronics has brought the Galaxy S6 Lite with S Pen to the shores of Africa. This affordable and lite version retain the aesthetics of the flagship Galaxy Tab S6, however, it is now equipped with a TFT display instead of Super AMOLED and no on screen fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has the same 10.4-inch screen with narrow bezels, 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera with facial recognition feature. It packs a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port for charging, dual speakers with sound by AKG and Dolby Atmos 3D, microSD card slot (up to 1TB cards) and power is supplied by a 7,040mAh battery that deliver up to 13 hours of video playback time.
The tablet is bundled with the redesigned S Pen which is highlighted to be more than a capable multitasking assistant and perfect for note taking. It features a 0.7mm pen tip to deliver greater precision, improved pen latency and requires no battery to operate. The pen mounts magnetically to the right-hand side of the tablet or the optional book cover case (LTE model only).
The tablet is available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE models and will arrive in three colour choices: Angora Blue, Chiffon Pink and Oxford Gray.
