At the CES 2016 event, Samsung has announced a new premium tablet – the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S with Microsoft’s Windows 10 OS. The 2-in-1 according to Samsung has all the best features of a Tablet and Laptop whilst also being optimized for mobility and productivity.
Measuring 6.3 mm thin and weighing 693 grams in size, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S sports a 12-inch (2160 x 1440) QHD Super AMOLED multitouch screen display a deeper color contrast with 94% of natural tones and is powered by the 6th Gen. Intel Core M processor (Dual Core 2.2GHz) with 4GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB Solid State Drive storage.
The 2-in-1 has a full-sized keyboard cover with touchpad as well, flexible hinges to be used as a classic keyboard or as the stand for being used as a tablet. Also, the keyboard cover uses a Pogo pin erases the need for pairing or charging separately. The Galaxy TabPro S sports a rear facing 5MP AutoFocus camera and a front facing 5MP camera.
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S measures 290.3 x 198.8 x 6.3 mm in dimension, weighs either 693 grams (Wi-Fi) or 696 grams (LTE) and is backed by a 5200mAh battery which takes about 2.5 hours to charge fully plus offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life. Both the models has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC and Bluetooth 4.1 while the LTE model supports LTE Cat.6 networks which Samsung says is a first for any tablet.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S runs either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro and will be available globally starting February 2016. A multi-port adapter with a multi-port adapter (HDMI, USB Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen are also available for purchase separately.
