Samsung Sends Out Invites For Galaxy UNPACKED 2019

Samsung has sent out press invites for the Galaxy UNPACKED 2019 launch event a week ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona. The South Korean company is expected to unveil its next flagship – likely called the Samsung Galaxy S10 – on February 20 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

The Galaxy UNPACKED 2019 teasers released have the number ‘10’ etched in the background. While the Samsung Galaxy S10 is all but confirmed, the flagship will reportedly arrive in three variants: the Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F), Galaxy S10 (SM-G973F) and the Galaxy S10 Lite aka Galaxy S10 E (SM-G970F).

As expected, the upcoming Galaxy S10 series will succeed the Galaxy S9 series. According to sources, the three variants will have 6.4-inch, 6.1-inch and 5.8-inch displays respectively and the Infinity-O (punch-hole) display will be employed in at least two, if not all the models.

Samsung already used the Infinity-O display on the Galaxy A8s but more attention will be paid to that used on the S10. The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will have in-display fingerprint sensors and at least dual rear and maybe front cameras.

Internally, the US market versions will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC while the global versions will have Samsung’s Exynos 9820 SoC paired with at least 6GB of RAM. We will have more information about these devices closer to their launch.
