After the launch of the Galaxy Note5 nd Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung has shifted its focus to the Samsung Galaxy S7. A device with the name – Samsung Lucky-LTE supposed to the the Galaxy S7 has been spotted on Geekbench benchmark database.
The Samsung Lucky-LTE is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor clocked very lower at 1.38GHz which could likely be the Samsung Exynos M1 using the company’s Mongoose cores which has been detailed before, the processor is said to have a clock speed up to 2.3GHz.
The device has a Geekbench 3 single core score of 1409 and Geekbench 3 multi core score of 4882; It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and 4GB of RAM is on-board.
According to some rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will sport a 5.7-inch QHD display, 5MP front camera, rear facing 20MP ISOCELL camera, 4GB of RAM and 64GB space of internal storage. The device is currently listed to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS but that could change as soon as Android 6.0 Marshamallow is widely available to all.
The number – Seven ‘7’ has been said to be a lucky number and according to sources, Samsung has decided to codename the Galaxy S7 as Project Lucky. The device is also expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 variant which the company has been actively testing.
