Samsung Max Debuts With Opera Max Features For Samsung Smartphones

Following last year’s discontinuation of the Opera Max app for smartphones, Samsung Electronics has relaunched the mobile data savings app under its own branding. The  Samsung Max, as it is now known, is now available on Google Play or Galaxy app stores for mid-range Samsung devices to download.

Going down memory lane, Opera Max app was launched back in 2014 to help users reduce and manage data usage across mobile apps on their Android smartphones. Now built upon the basis of Samsung’s ‘Made For India’ initiative, Samsung Max still retains all the core features of the Opera Max app which are ‘Data Saving Mode’ and ‘Privacy Protection Mode’.

The former tailors data consumption to meet the each user’s need while the latter offers privacy protection on Mobile or Wi-Fi across all of your apps, allowing users to more securely access the Internet from any available connection.
