Samsung Electronics has unveiled a new premium 2-in-1 PC with built-in S Pen for the creators, the new Samsung Notebook 9 Pen. It comes in 13.3-inch and 15-inch screen sizes, all-metal and aluminium body frame, and arrives in Ocean Blue and Platinum White colours.
The Samsung Notebook 9 Pen is powered by the 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processor. Both models have a Full HD screen resolution and the 13.3-inch model uses the Intel UHD Graphics while the 15-inch model is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (2GB).
Compared to the previous model, the built-in S Pen has a reduced latency of up to 2x and also jots, draws and controls the PC. The S Pen is stored directly into the PC and never needs to be charged. It is also customisable with three different Pen tips.
The Notebook 9 Pen packs 16GB LPDDR3 RAM, 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, 2x versatile Thunderbolt 3 ports, UFS and microSD combo, USB-C port, AKG stereo speakers with Thunder amp, HD IR Camera, and next-gen Gigabit Wi-Fi support. It supports both fingerprint and facial recognition, and lasts 15 hours of battery life.
The Samsung Notebook 9 Pen is already on sale in Korea starting December 14 and will be available in Brazil, China, Hong Kong and the USA starting in early 2019.
