Last week, an upcoming Samsung smartphone with codename: SM-G8750, popped up on benchmark with Android Oreo, 4GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core mobile platform onboard. The aforementioned, believed to be the Galaxy S9 Mini has surfaced again but this time on China’s certification agency website – TENAA with the codename: SM-G8850.
The Samsung SM-G8850 will have a (2960 x 1440 pixels) 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display and 3,000mAh battery with wired and wireless charging, which is basically the same as the Galaxy S9. However, the fingerprint sensor location and rear camera arrangement has changes compared to the Galaxy S9 and even the Galaxy S9+.
This model will have an IP68-certified body, boot Android Oreo OS and rely on a 2.0GHz octa-core processor (either Snapdragon or Exynos) paired with either 4GB / 6GB of RAM. Photography will be handled by Dual 12MP camera and a front facing 8MP camera with wide-angle lens.
The rest of the specs is expected not to star far from the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. There is no official confirmation of the existence of this device; however, it is believed to be very close to launch and will arrive in Black and Blue colours.
