Samsung has a new Galaxy J3 smartphone model launching in China sometime later this month by China Telecom. The new Samsung Galaxy J3 model with model no – SM-J3119 is expected to be available in Gold and Gray colour options but the final name is speculated to either be the Galaxy J3 Pro or the Galaxy J3 2017 (Galaxy J37) which is much more unlikely.
Already certified by Chinese agency – TENAA, the Samsung SM-J3119 (Galaxy J3 Pro / Galaxy J3 2017) has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display and 2600mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS instead of the current Marshmallow.
It measures 142.23 x 71.30 x 8 mm in dimensions, weighs 138 grams, has 16GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. The device supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks along with standard connectivity options – Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.
In the camera segment, there is a 8MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front 2MP camera for selfies. There is no word yet from South Korean company concerning the launch of this new Galaxy J3 model but there is a possible scenario of if being an exclusive to China Telecom or China generally.
