Samsung has a lineup of audio related devices set to debut at the CES 2015 by next week. The company has announced it would be showcasing an expanded collection of curved soundbars and WAM7500 & WAM6500 360-Degree speakers.
Commenting on the launch, Jurack Chae, Senior Vice President at Samsung Electronics Said;
“We know how much people love music and that’s why we are expanding our portfolio to bring high-quality, wireless audio into the home. With the new WAM7500/6500 people can enjoy a vibrant sound wherever they are, while our new Curved Soundbars perfectly complement the TV viewing experience.”
The WAM7500 and WAM6500 are different from the normal conventional box speakers which disperse sound in one direction; instead it fills the entire room with sound. This could be attributed to Samsung’s Ring Radiator technology which allows sound to flow in 360-degrees and gives a perfect blend between Bass and Treble.
It would be released in two models – the WAM7500 is the stand type designed for stationary listening while the WAM 6500 is the movable type which uses a built-in battery which lets users enjoy their sound whether they are home, out or about. Both speaker models connects seamlessly to mobile devices, TVS and Soundbars.
Samsung also plans to unveil a list of Curved Soundbar Lineup; in addition to the already available 7500 series. The company has added the 8000, 6500 and 6000 series taking the lineup to four.
The 8500 series has a 9.1-channel system with a central channel plus side speakers at each end. The curved soundbars are expected to match the company’s curved TV ranging from 48″ to 78″ in size. More information is expected at the CES 2015 some weeks from now.
