Samsung Wallet service shutting down on June 30

The news of the service shut down was communicated to the Samsung Wallet users via email from the company;  first of all – the website would no longer be available, User’s information would be handled according to the company’s privacy policy and user’s Samsung account would still remain intact. Tickets or Reservations made by users of the service before termination would still be available but other services would be discontinued on June 30th.

The Demise of Samsung Wallet has been linked to the impending launch of the Samsung Pay service which has been scheduled for the second half of the year (Q2 2015). Some of the key features of the Wallet could (will likely) be ported to Samsung Pay.
