Flash Memory making company, SanDisk has announced a new storage microSDXC card with 512GB capacity which is the highest ever to be created in terms of storage. Dubbed the SanDisk 512GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I SD memory card for DSLR, advanced digital or HD video cameras; it comes 10 years after the company announced the 512MB model.

The new SDXC card is said to be aimed at photographers and videographers shooting in high quality 4K Ultra HD format, Full HD video and high speed burst mode photography. The 4K format (3840 x 2160 pixels) is four times the resolution of HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).
