At the just concluded CES 2018 in Las Vegas, Western Digital showcased the prototype of the world’s smallest 1TB USB flash drive alongside other flash storage products. The flash drive will easily connect with mobile devices, laptops, and desktops with USB Type-C connectivity.
The brand also unveiled the world’s smallest 256GB USB Flash Drive. The 256GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive, which is also available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options, is made for people to add more files and media to their notebooks, tablets, TVs, gaming consoles and car audio systems.
The 256GB Flash Drive has enough space for up to 14,000 photos, 10 hours of Full HD video, 16,000 songs, and extra 64GB built-in storage.
Other products launched by SanDisk’s parent company include: the WD My Cloud Home, WD My Passport Wireless SSD and SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD. The former is a portable cloud storage with support for Amazon Alexa services and also works with Google Chromecast, while the latter two are portble SSDs for avid photographers and drone enthusiasts.
