Selfie is easily one of the most popular genre of photo people take nowadays. Who doesn’t like a good selfie? The word went so popular it even made its way into the Oxford dictionary, that’s how popular it is. Well we have seen selfie based smartphones and even camera in recent weeks – the selfie-centric Sony Xperia C3, the Cyber-shot DSC-KW11 Selfie-focused bottle camera, the upcoming Lumia 735 and even from some Chinese and Indian OEMS. Everybody wanna join in the Selfie trend; a new Galaxy Grand device from Samsung has also been touted to be a selfie based device. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (Model No: SM-G530H) has surfaced online from vietnam and expected to be the first smartphone from the company with a 5MP camera including the Galaxy A Series of smartphones.
Obviously the front facing 5MP camera for selfies is the highlight, and a rear 8MP camera with LED flash. Other specs details includes a 5″qHD display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 Soc clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of Internal storage, microSDcard slot and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS (with Samsung TouchWiz UI).
Like all Galaxy Grand devices it supports Dual SIM functionality, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS+GLONASS, Wi-Fi b/g/n and powered by a 2600mAh battery.
