Beidou is set to release another smartphone in the Little Pepper series which would succeed the Little Pepper 6; the Little Pepper 7 as it is called is said to come with a massive 20MP front camera. Yes, you heard that right. This could make the device the first smartphone to come with a 20MP front camera.
The main talking point of the Beidou Little Pepper 7 is its massive 20MP front camera; the highest camera pixel on a smartphone’s front camera is 13MP and it goes below as just VGA (0.3MP). Having a 20MP camera on the front only points to the fact that selfies would be very high-res. As expected the company would include somesoftware features on the camera such as Real Time beauty enhancements, Full HD capture, Wide Selfie, filters, improved self-time, Quad HD capture and others.
It is obvious that a high camera resolution doesn’t translate to a good camera quality but it’s hard to see a 20MP camera not delivering to its potential. Beidou is said to be targeting the most Selfie takers in the world, the ladies of course with the new smartphone.
There is no word on the specs of the Beidou Little Pepper 7 for now, but the device would surely sport a MediaTek SoC and would run Android OS (version could either be at the least Kitkat or Lollipop). The device would have metal body design and double glass deisgn. The back is also said to be adorned with a diamond 3D texture to beautify the device.
