SHARP recently listed up an upgraded version of the original AQUOS S3 – the Sharp AQUOS S3 High Edition in Taiwan. This model comes with a different Qualcomm processor, more RAM and Qi Wireless Charging support, for a price tag of NT$13,990 (from $470 / €400).
On the inside, the Sharp AQUOS S3 High Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 630 SoC and packs 6GB of RAM instead of 4GB. Internal storage has doubled from 64GB to 128GB and the microSD card slot accepts up to 128GB cards.
Available in Black or Gold colours, the smartphone has the same 6-inch IPS LCD IGZO 18:9 FHD+ display with iPhone X styled notched, rear fingerprint sensor, Face recognition, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0 VoLTE + VoWiFi, and depends on the same 3,200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 Support.

It also supports Qi Wireless Charging (7.5W charging pad) and comes pre-loaded with Android Oreo OS with SmileUX ontop. The camera setup remains the same. The rear shooter includes a 12MP sensor with f/1.75 aperture and a secondary 16MP sensor for additional depth and bokeh effects. The front shooter has a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 lens.
